Closed-Cell Perlite (also known as hollow vitrified perlite) is an innovative inorganic thermal insulation material made from special perlite ore. It is processed under high temperatures above 1000°C using electrical heating, where the product surface is vitrified and the internal structure remains porous. This unique structure gives closed-cell perlite exceptional properties such as lightweight, thermal insulation, fire resistance, and acoustic insulation. It is commonly used in gypsum plaster, refractory bricks, and other industrial and construction applications.
