4000 Mesh Calcined Kaolin is a type of high-brightness kaolin with a plate structure and anhydrous aluminum silicate composition. Its fine particle size and uniform distribution provide excellent hiding power and low oil absorbency. This makes it ideal for applications in paints, coatings, and paper industries. By improving the cracking resistance, scrub resistance, and salt fog resistance of paint films, calcined kaolin helps enhance the performance and durability of coatings. In the paper industry, it improves the paper’s coverage, gloss, and smoothness, while also enhancing printability and ink absorption. Additionally, calcined kaolin can replace titanium dioxide partially, contributing to cost reduction in production.
