What is White Microsilica?
White Microsilica is a by-product obtained during the desilication process of zircon sand in electric arc furnaces. During smelting, silica in zircon sand transforms into gaseous silicon monoxide, which then oxidizes upon contact with air to form fine silicon dioxide powder, collected through cyclone dust removal systems.
